Mike and Gene meet with Neil Ohlenkamp, owner of www.judoinfo.com and author of new book, "Judo Unleashed".  Neil talks about his new book "Judo Unleashed" and tell some behind the scene stories about the book.  Neil, Rokyudan, talks about his start in judo, and the progression over time, including his involvement with the paralympics, and national coach for blind judo.  Neil talks about the early days of judoinfo, which started in 1995 and now has over 250,000 visitors monthly.  Mike, Gene and Neil talk briefly about the structure of websites, bandwidth and the associated costs.  All agree that support is needed to keep websites like this available.  Neil talks about his squeaky hip, especially when he throws harai goshi, since his hip replacement 2 years ago.  Mike forgets to pack his underwear for Athens, Greece.  Future episode on judo for the visually impaired is announced and will include Adam Blackburn from Salt Lake City USA Stars Judo and may also include another visit from Neil Ohlenkamp!

Mike and Gene meet with Serge and his daughter Kaitlyn, Gene's son Kai, and Mike's student Stephen Sanders.  The 3 juniors recently competed in the Jr. Nationals and the Jr. US Open.  Stephen's desire is to pass along judo later as an instructor, Kai's is to develop the best technique, and Katelyn, well, she wants to kick butt and compete in the tournament with the rings...her goal is to be in the 2012 Olympics in London, and something tells me she will be there!  This is a great podcast you won't want to miss, for all ages!
